Horizon Consulting wins recompete bid with the Atlanta Home Ownership Center
$17 Million Contract for Post Endorsement Tech Reviews lasts for 5 years
Lansdowne, VA - January 21, 2010 - Horizon Consulting announced today that they have been re-selected to continue to provide Post Endorsement Technical Reviews for the Atlanta Home Ownership Center (HOC). The contract, valued at $17,686,560, runs for the next five years and the work performing detailed loan quality control review will continue to be done from Horizon's headquarters in Lansdowne, VA. Horizon has performed Post Endorsement Technical Reviews for the Atlanta HOC for over 10 years.

This contract renewal comes at a time when there is great concern regarding mortgage fraud, an issue that is of major importance to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and its HOCs. "The concern regarding mortgage fraud is something we are well aware of," says Julie Hansen, Horizon's Project Manager for the tech review contract. "We make it a point to keep abreast of all the news that is coming out about the mortgage fraud issue, and will continue to stay on top of everything so that we can be most effective." Horizon has hired additional employees to work on this project, and anticipates creating more jobs and expanding their staff as projected volumes increase.
