Wanda Alexis Alexander, President & CEO
Wanda Alexander purchased a majority stake in Horizon on September 1, 1995, assuming the positions of President and CEO. Her insight to pursue contracts in the cities where HUD had offices resulted in the growth that earned Horizon the #312 spot on the Inc. 500 List of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America. Wanda has over three decades of experience in asset management, portfolio supervision, and debt re-structuring strategies for financially distressed multifamily real estate.
Before joining Horizon, Wanda spent 15 years in Asset Management, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements of HUD's insurance programs, addressing owner and management issues including Fair Housing, equity skimming, unauthorized payments, insurance, and real estate tax issues. She has designed and directed training programs on numerous housing-related issues.

Stephen R. Coakley, Principal & Vice President
Stephen R. Coakley founded Horizon in July of 1994 and today serves as Principal and Vice-President. He focuses on Horizon's leadership, vision, corporate culture, strategic and financial planning, and business development while ensuring the company's adherence to the foundational principles of honesty, integrity, professionalism and hard work.
A long time fan of Inc Magazine and its prestigious list, the Inc. 500, making the list as one of the fastest growing privately held firms in the U.S. in 2002 - eight years after Horizon's launch - was fulfillment of a dream. Fast forward eight years later to 2010 and the firm is not just still in business, it just completed its best year ever despite tough economic conditions.
